Injuries from HAVS (which can result in substantial claims) have been reduced by the introduction of the HAV metre.

The metre is produced by an Edinburgh-based engineering firm Reactec. The machine records trigger time and vibration levels to ensure that the operator doesn’t exceed recommended Health & Saftey limits.
